All good things must come to an end. I am in the midst of some major life changes right now, and have found my time and energy for blogging have vanished. I have enjoyed pouring my soul out into the internet the past year and a half, but my schedule has become such that I am having to phase out my posting and blog maintenance. I don’t know if this will change after we move, or if the blogging bug will get me again, but for now this blog is on indefinite hiatus. I just wanted to let my legions of faithful readers know (both of you!)

I am sorry to hear this. I have so enjoyed the information that you have shared. I have shared parts of your blog with non-member friends to show that we are not all drones or pinheads but are people who are seeking and questioning – just like the rest of the world. Thanks and I hope that at some point you come back.

From one of your faithful readers who never left a comment: Thanks for the amazing amount of material you produced over the last 18 months. I hope it works out that you can get back to blogging again sometime in the near future. I enjoyed following your adventures and reading your posts.

I hope your return to blogging will be sooner than you expect. You have filled a unique niche in my RSS feed that will be hard, if not impossible, to replace.

My goodness, nothing like closing shop to bring commenters out of the woodwork. Thank you all for your kind words. Hopefully the transition to real doctor’s life goes smoothly enough I can return here periodically. Time will tell.

You will be missed, as you provided a balance (between science and the gospel) not available elsewhere. At some point all good things must come to an end, and sometimes professional duties call us in other directions.
Best wishes…

Say it ain’t so, Doc! This has nothing to do with taking time to watch re-reruns of Scrubs, I hope.
You physicians are way too busy. You can’t even work from home. Did they warn you about this in medical school?
Anyway, best wishes and don’t forget to drop in at mormonsandscience once and a while to give me some humble pie.
Best wishes.

Wish you well, I find I have times when I just don’t blog and times I do.
Let the hiatus treat you well.

Doc:
Very sorry to see you go, I hope it’s just a rest.
My schedule also has been busy lately and I don’t get by often, but when I do, I always enjoy your site. Its been a class act.
Very best wishes!

I just learned that you discontinued blogging. I truly enjoyed your writing style and intriguing articles. We often featured them on our Brain Blogging carnival, and we received positive commentary each time. Hope to see you return to scene shortly!
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Shaheen
